Answering the call from Crimethinc No Kings, No Masters: Building the Resistance
March 28th 2026 Central Oregon- Building on momentum and answering the call to have disruptive demonstrations and representation from Anti-fascists around the globe, so called Central Oregon showed up.
Speakers from Central Oregon for Socialism, Central Oregon Peacekeepers, Queer community and the indigenous community spoke on the mic about being an accomplice and call to action over performative permitted parades and signs. Speakers screamed “Free Palestine” and “land back” Mutual aid groups from around the area tabled, donations were collected in the form of redistribution of wealth, blankets, canned food, to then give directly to people living outside in shelters.
One speaker of color, chose to exercise his first amendment right to burn the American flag. He had accomplices helping him with protection and with providing lighter fluid and the flag. He was attacked and assaulted by a Christian Nationalist. The flag still burned.
The flag was ripped out of his hands over and over and he was able to retrieve the flag. The flag still burned.
Water was poured on everyone. The flag still burned
The crowd on the north side chanted “Don’t burn the flag”. The crowd on the south side chanted “burn the flag” The flag still burned
Defenders of the 1st amendment demonstration were rammed with wheel chairs, accosted and screamed at for wearing masks to protect their health and their anonymity. Comrades were spit on and were threatened. The flag still burned.
People screamed “people died for this flag.” Comrades responded “too many people died for this flag”. The flag still burned.
People screamed “I hope you don’t have a mother” at a comrade. The flag still burned.
When you cheer on speakers saying be an accomplice and then attack a brown person who is expressing their anger, you are a hypocrite.
Solidarity to the rabble rousers, to the ones disrupting the status quo. We don’t want reform we want to abolish the USA. Your No kings includes flags. We will now burn flags at every demonstration going forward. The flag will burn.
